Give-A-Kid-A-Backpack

Give a Kid a Backpack

In August of 2003 the Backpack program was begun; 50 backpacks were distributed at that time to children in need. To this date we have given out over 2000 backpacks. We need to replenish our supplies of backpacks, paper, pens, pencils, etc. for early September distribution. Having the items the backpack program provides will not only assist recipients in completing their school lessons, it will increase self-worth as well. This program helps close the gap between students who fall in this less-advantaged group and their peers.

GIVE-A-KID-PROJECTS is offering new backpacks filled with grade appropriate school supplies to families that cannot afford to purchase these items for children in grades Pre-K through 12th for the 2016-2017 school year.
